How do you identify the main criteria to obtaining recognition as a ‘white van man’? Perhaps the obvious starting point is to own a white van, that said, you could still be excluded from the fraternity. What follows is a list of experiences that to me would guarantee acceptance for anyone into the ‘special club’.

Complete disregard for other road users

Now, this is vitally important if you wish to become a member of this club. It can’t be a small bending of the rules here or there, or minor irregularities with the highway code. There has to be no abiding by the rules! If you are driving down a narrow county road, for example, you cannot safely negociate passage past another vehicle. If it is possible you have to force the other vehicle to stop for you, or better still, completely run the other person off the road. if you can adhieve this without caring at all, then you are a larger step closer to your goal.

Dominate your steet with your vehicle

The councils in most towns and cities have awoken to the idea that there is lots of money to be made by parking enforcement. Parking space outside your own house is now prime space, and you are not even guaranteed a parking slot nearby. But where does ‘white van man’ fit into this? Our bloke probably owns more than one or two cars and parks the van outside his house too, consuming more space than anyone else in the street. If you are able to do this and not care what is thought of you, then you will be a prime candidate for the accolade!

Auto Leasing Scams

Car leasing is a more favorable alternative to actually purchasing your own vehicle, giving you a chance to drive a new car for a lesser price. The truth is that car leasing is actually riddled with several pitfalls for the average car owner.

Take into account the money factor, for instance, this is expressed in a four decimal digit like 0.004. You might hear dealers call this out as 4% interest rate, but the thing is that you have to multiply it by 24 to get an estimate interest rate of your loan.

In this example, the interest rate is a much higher 9.6% than the “quoted” rate of 4%. Make sure you crunch the numbers and understand the formula they use to calculate their interest rate. Look out for any fees not factored into the calculation.

If you are not satisfied, do not enter intothe lease agreement.

Terminate your lease early for a low penalty

This is an all-time leasing scam. You ask your dealer how much you will pay if you want to terminate your lease and he tells you: “You want to get out early? Sure thing, you only pay an early termination fee of 0”. 

That quote is actually just a small administrative penalty along with the termination fee. It is important that you take note of the fine print and check out how much you will be charged if you terminate the lease before the determined schedule. 

Pay for an extended warranty you don’t need

This is another shell game to inflate the dealer’s profit at your expense. The dealer slides an extended-warranty into the deal whilst it’s already factored into the monthly payments, or he tricks you into buying a 36-month warranty on a 24-month lease. 

There is no need for you to pay extra money to get warranty that is already a part of your payments or one that extends far beyond the lease terms. They might slip an extended warranty in. Don’t be fooled, the warranty is already factored in.

A dealer advertising a [Mike B.] on a security deposit is not worth checking out. This security fee is always a part of the lease under the provision of the disposition fees.

Best palm trees for your tropical landscape

One of the more popular landscape styles around are the tropical landscapes. it is a theme that most people use when they need to do any landscaping for their home.It works perfectly well with most kinds of homes.You can match it up with most homes that people buy, in other words.That is probably the reason why that kind of landscaping is very well known.  That being the case the most popular trees for that tropical theme are palm trees.  So in this article we are going to look at a couple of palm trees that will work well.

The first palm tree that works well with a tropical landscape are foxtail palms.  I say it works well because it is a lesser used palm tree for most gardens.  Most people are using king palms or queen palms.It is a nice looking palm tree that got its name from its look since the leaves resembles a foxtail shape. It wasn’t well known because it didn’t do well in mild climates.But it has started to adapt because growers have been growing it in milder weather.  This has allowed a surge in popularity.

The next type of palm tree that is real good with that tropical theme are the coconut palm.  This was another palm tree that didn’t gain in popularity at first.That was definitely due to the mere fact that people didn’t believe it could survive in mild weather. This palm tree was grown in California so it was accustomed to milder weather and now can survive in most places.

As you can see, since people didn’t think it could survive these two kinds of palm trees didn’t gain popularity at first. The secrets in increasing your car’s lifespan

Cars are one thing that almost everybody owns.  Not everybody may own a home. But most people in general have to own a car for many reasons.  Living in America it is hard to survive without owning one.It is important to make sure that you make your cars last longer, with that being the case. 

The main way to do that I tell all my clients of my San Diego auto repair shop is to make sure you regularly maintain your car.It is like going to the doctor for regular checkups. Even though you are well, you are definitely willing to go to prevent any sickness.With cars, it is basically the same thing.Instead of waiting it is absolutely cheaper to take it in to ensure that nothing goes wrong.

The first thing you need to do is ensure that you take it in for regular tune ups.  Tune ups are where you check all the fluids and spark plugs.You also need to perform several diagnostic tests to ensure that the major parts are working well.Doing this ensures your car from running well.Passing the smog test will also help.  In my San Diego smog check service we always recommend older cars to do regular tune ups.Because the older your car gets, the tougher it is to pass the smog test.

Another thing you definitely need to maintain are your car’s brakes.This is basically important since brakes that fail are dangerous.
